Vice President of Credit Management

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President, Credit Manager to lead and manage a team of underwriting professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise an Underwriting Team for credit reviews and recommendations to the Credit Committee
• Present credit findings and recommendations to the Credit Committee and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
• Utilize internal systems and reporting tools to monitor performance metrics, risk trends, and compliance adherence

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum of 5-7 years of managerial credit underwriting experience
• Formal bank credit training strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of SBA lending guidelines and credit structuring
• Demonstrated leadership ability with experience managing high-performing underwriting teams
