Vice President of Credit Risk

Job Summary

Leading the development and implementation of enterprise-wide Credit Risk Management, the full-time remote Vice President of Credit Risk will oversee credit approval processes, ensure policy compliance, and manage portfolio analysis to support sustainable growth and customer impact.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the credit approval process and portfolio monitoring systems for all credit products
• Ensure credit policies are regularly reviewed, communicated, and modified as necessary
• Provide ongoing evaluation and implementation of credit risk management systems and models

Required qualifications

• BS or BA degree in Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Finance; Master's degree is a plus
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial and consumer credit risk, with at least five years in a leadership role
• Thorough knowledge of financial services operations and credit operations
• Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and small business credit principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and quantitative tools for credit scoring and portfolio management
