Vice President of Cybersecurity

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President, Cyber Threat Detection and Automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the global Cyber Threat Detection and Automation organization within the SOC, aligning strategies with Information Security objectives
• Build, scale, and mature advanced detection capabilities across various environments
• Develop and oversee automation workflows to enhance response speed and efficiency

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• 12+ years of professional cybersecurity experience, particularly in threat detection and SOC operations
• A minimum of 4 years in leadership roles managing global cybersecurity teams
• Experience managing and directing 3rd party MSSP providers
• Deep understanding of SIEM, SOAR, and detection engineering tools and methodologies
