Vice President of Data

Job Summary

Leading a company-wide data transformation, the full-time Vice President of Data will establish data as a critical operating advantage, ensuring the organization leverages authoritative data products to drive informed decision-making in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise data strategy, establishing Snowflake as the authoritative source of truth
• Partner with various business functions to translate business questions into durable analytical systems and ensure clear understanding of performance metrics
• Build and lead a high-performing data organization, focusing on the integration of AI agents and the establishment of a company-wide metric governance framework

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or related fields, with 5+ years in leadership roles
• Demonstrated success in building or transforming a data function within a growing SaaS or technology company
• Deep experience with modern cloud data platforms, particularly Snowflake, and data transformation frameworks like dbt
• Strong understanding of business intelligence and self-service analytics platforms, as well as experience integrating data from core SaaS systems
• Hands-on technical capability to write SQL, evaluate models, and prototype solutions, along with experience building production AI agents
