Vice President of Data

Job Summary

Leading the data function in a full-time remote capacity, the Vice President of Data will set the vision and strategy for data engineering, analytics, and machine learning, while collaborating closely with executive leadership to enhance member outcomes and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Establishing and communicating the data vision, strategy, and roadmap across the organization
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to prioritize core company metrics and experiment design
• Coaching and developing the data organization, including data engineers, analysts, and data scientists

Required qualifications

• Proven experience leading data organizations through significant scaling
• Expertise in building and maturing data platforms, including ingestion, warehousing, and governance
• Demonstrated ability to ship machine learning or AI solutions into real products
• Strong understanding of healthcare data compliance, including PHI and HIPAA regulations
• Hands-on experience with modern AI-assisted tools and a strategic mindset in applying them in healthcare contexts
