Vice President of Data Architecture

Job Summary

A company is looking for a VP of Data Architecture to set and drive the enterprise data architecture direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise data architecture function, including talent management and setting expectations for architecture work
• Own the enterprise data architecture strategy and ensure accountability for modernization priorities
• Direct the definition of enterprise patterns for data movement, processing, storage, and consumption across various use cases

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant IT architecture experience, including 4 years in a management role
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
• Experience with AWS and cloud-first architectural patterns
• Strong understanding of enterprise data consumption patterns across BI/reporting and API/data services
• Demonstrated ability to lead senior technical professionals and drive outcomes through influence
