Vice President of Data Governance

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President of Data Governance, responsible for developing and executing data governance strategies to ensure data quality, integrity, security, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the data governance strategy across the organization
• Establish and maintain data governance frameworks and best practices for data management, quality, security, and compliance
• Oversee data quality initiatives, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems and platforms

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's or MBA preferred)
• 15+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related fields
• Proven experience in developing and executing data governance strategies across large, complex organizations
• Experience with regulatory compliance and data protection laws such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc
• Strong understanding of data management, data quality, metadata management, and data privacy principles
