Vice President of Data Governance

Job Summary

Leading the enterprise data governance program, the full-time Vice President of Data Governance will establish processes and controls, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and oversee governance capabilities to ensure responsible data management in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Data Governance Office, including governance processes and cross-functional collaboration practices
• Define and manage the roadmap for enterprise data governance capabilities, including data discovery and privacy
• Partner with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Information Security to establish governance policies and monitoring practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in product management, data governance, or related leadership roles
• Experience building enterprise data governance programs within regulated environments
• Familiarity with enterprise governance platforms such as Securiti.ai or similar technologies
• Experience in commercial real estate, financial services, or similarly regulated industries preferred
