Vice President of Denials Prevention

Job Summary

Leading enterprise-wide transformation strategies, the full-time salaried Vice President of Denials Prevention will focus on preventing avoidable denials, enhancing revenue cycle performance, and implementing actionable changes through analytics and operational assessments in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead denial prevention strategies and transformation across hospital revenue cycle operations
• Analyze denial and reimbursement data to identify root causes and high-value transformation opportunities
• Develop and implement payer-specific prevention strategies addressing authorization and payment policy issues

Required qualifications

• 10 years of progressive leadership experience in Revenue Cycle Management and Denials work
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Proven experience in a leadership role within revenue cycle services in a healthcare setting
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle management principles and practices
• Proficiency in revenue cycle management systems and electronic health records (EHR)
