Vice President of Development

Job Summary

Driving the strategic direction of data center development projects, the full-time salaried Vice President of Development will oversee project execution from concept to completion, manage budgets, and lead teams in site selection, design, and construction processes, with opportunities for remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development teams in creating Basis of Design for data center deployments and oversee expansion and renovation projects
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop master development programs and ensure projects meet time, budget, and quality standards
• Evaluate and attract profitable deals while representing company interests in various meetings

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Ten or more years of experience in mission-critical facilities and the REIT/Data Center industry
• Extensive management experience with MEP trades
• Proven leadership skills and a track record of timely project delivery and cost control
• Deep practical engineering knowledge related to data center design and construction
