Job Summary

Leading a global team of energy experts, the full-time remote Vice President of Energy Procurement will manage energy procurement strategies, negotiate power purchase agreements, and drive initiatives for innovative and sustainable power solutions to support data center operations worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute energy procurement strategies for global markets, focusing on cost-effective and reliable electricity supply
• Oversee global energy procurement and negotiate agreements to secure energy for new data center locations
• Integrate renewable energy programs into solutions and engage with stakeholders to promote energy initiatives

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in energy management or procurement, particularly in data center environments
• Strong negotiation skills with experience in managing complex contracts and supplier relationships
• Proven track record in driving large-scale energy strategies, including renewable energy initiatives
• Deep understanding of energy markets, regulatory environments, and sustainability practices
• Excellent leadership skills with experience in developing and managing globally dispersed teams
