Vice President of Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President of Engineering to lead its engineering organization and define the technical strategy for its platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision and execution for the platform, focusing on real-time offers and consumer engagement
• Lead teams in applying machine learning and AI for personalization and fraud detection
• Build and scale secure, high-performance commerce systems and partner with cross-functional teams to achieve platform KPIs

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering leadership experience, with at least 5 years managing large engineering teams
• Experience in architecting and scaling high-volume commerce or rewards systems
• Background in machine learning and AI applications in consumer engagement
• Strong knowledge of software engineering, data engineering, and cloud infrastructure
• Proven ability to recruit and develop technical talent, with experience managing distributed teams preferred
