Vice President of Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President of Engineering to lead technology and organizational transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the migration to a unified data intelligence platform and lead the architecture of a Databricks Lakehouse environment
• Shift engineering focus from client-specific work to reusable data products and establish Infrastructure as Code for reliability and scalability
• Implement DORA metrics, optimize SDLC and CI/CD pipelines, and ensure compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and ISO 42001 standards

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years in engineering leadership, with at least 3 years at the Director or VP level
• Proven success in driving major transformations such as Services to SaaS and On-Prem to Cloud
• Strong background in modern data architectures and the Databricks ecosystem
• Experience in managing engineering budgets and leading distributed teams
• Demonstrated change management skills and ability to translate technical strategy into execution plans
