Vice President of Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President of Engineering to lead the development of their platform focused on life-safety and AI-enabled solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define roadmap priorities and align engineering execution with company strategy
• Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering organization across various software domains while establishing a culture of ownership and accountability
• Ensure the architecture and delivery of the platform supports high availability, reliability, scalability, and security

Required Qualifications:

• 12+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing multi-disciplinary teams of 20+
• Proven experience operating high-availability production systems and SaaS platforms
• Strong technical foundation in cloud architectures, distributed systems, and mobile development
• Deep experience with Agile frameworks and measuring engineering performance
• Excellent organizational leadership and stakeholder-management skills
