Vice President of Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a VP of Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead the long-term technical vision and roadmap for product-enabling platforms
• Lead multiple engineering organizations, setting objectives and accountability
• Provide executive-level technical leadership on architecture and system design for distributed platform systems

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering experience, including 8+ years in senior leadership roles
• Proven experience leading platform or infrastructure engineering organizations
• Strong technical background in large-scale distributed systems
• Experience managing leaders of leaders, including directors and senior managers
• Ability to balance long-term strategy with near- and mid-term execution
