Vice President of Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a talented team of developers, the full-time salaried Vice President of Engineering will drive the technology vision, oversee software development processes, and ensure alignment with customer needs in a remote, hybrid, or on-site capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the CTO to create and implement a technology vision and execute plans for scalability
• Own the rollout and evolution of AI-augmented software development lifecycle tools, ensuring effective usage across teams
• Act as supervisor to technical leads and recruit top-tier talent for product delivery

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of senior leadership experience in full-lifecycle software development and complex systems operations
• At least 10 years of experience as a software development contributor
• Proven track record of leading high-caliber technical teams and delivering successful business results
• Strong understanding of business principles and their impact on engineering decisions
• Experience in hyper-growth or scaling tech start-ups
