Job Summary

Leading the evolution of technology initiatives, the full-time salaried Vice President of Engineering will provide strategic and operational leadership for software engineering and data architecture in a remote environment, focusing on AI-enabled development and scalable product innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategy and execution for modern data models that enhance product scalability and operational efficiency
• Define and operationalize an engineering model that integrates human engineers and AI agents for improved development processes
• Establish rigorous engineering and quality assurance practices to maintain reliability in clinical trial technology environments

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 15+ years of experience in software engineering and technology leadership, with a track record of scaling teams and leading enterprise transformations
• Deep expertise in data architecture and platform design, particularly in Microsoft Azure environments
• Experience implementing modern software development practices, including AI-assisted engineering
• Strong understanding of security, privacy, and compliance requirements in regulated industries such as healthcare or clinical research
