Vice President of Engineering

Job Summary

To support a growing engineering team, the full-time salaried Vice President of Engineering will lead over 100 engineers in hands-on mentorship, architect autonomous systems, and drive technical standards while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Architect systems for autonomous agents, making critical decisions impacting performance and costs
• Mentor and develop technical leaders, fostering a culture of ownership and high standards
• Engage in hands-on technical work, including code reviews and solving complex distributed systems challenges

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in production code delivery, with 3+ years in technical leadership roles
• Experience with multi-agent orchestration and LLM integration in production environments
• Proven ability to scale engineering organizations from 30 to over 100 engineers
• Strong understanding of cost-quality tradeoffs and performance optimization in AI systems
• Ability to attract and mentor elite engineering talent, fostering a high-performance culture
