Vice President of Engineering

Job Summary

Leading the engineering organization, the full-time Vice President of Engineering will oversee execution quality, technical direction, and cross-functional partnerships while fostering an innovative and collaborative culture in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Own the engineering org's execution delivery quality, velocity, and predictability across all product pillars
• Establish and evolve engineering standards, architectural principles, and platform strategy
• Be the engineering voice in product planning and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering priorities with business goals

Required qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, with 5+ years leading engineering teams at scale
• Hands-on familiarity with core technologies such as TypeScript/Node.js, NestJS, Next.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS infrastructure
• Experience navigating platform modernization or migration programs
• Strong track record of building and growing senior engineers and engineering managers
• Experience in fintech, lending, or regulated consumer product environments
