Job Summary

Leading the content strategy and programming vision for a diverse portfolio of enterprise events, the full-time remote Vice President of Event Programming will shape the intellectual capital of GovExec's events, ensuring exceptional value for government and industry audiences while managing a team of content professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the content vision and programming strategy across the enterprise events portfolio
• Establish annual content themes and identify new event concepts to support portfolio growth
• Build and maintain relationships with senior officials and industry leaders to guide speaker strategy and enhance audience engagement

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in conference programming, media, or related fields
• 5+ years of experience leading content or programming teams
• Proven success in building content strategies for large-scale event portfolios
• Strong understanding of government and public sector markets
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
