Vice President of Finance
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Vice President of Finance, this role will manage day-to-day financial operations, oversee accounting and FP&A functions, and serve as a strategic partner to the CFO and leadership team in a dynamic startup environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closes with accuracy and oversight of outsourced bookkeeping
- Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning while providing financial models for scenario planning
- Own SaaS financial metrics and revenue recognition processes, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and tracking unit economics
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of finance experience, including both controller and FP&A roles
- Experience in a startup environment, with a proven ability to build processes from scratch
- Strong command of SaaS metrics and financial modeling fluency
- Hands-on experience with outsourced accounting and proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks or NetSuite
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-finance audiences
