Job Summary

Leading financial strategy and operations, the full-time remote Vice President of Financial Planning will manage the annual budgeting process, oversee financial analysis of business transactions, and build a high-performing FP&A team while collaborating with senior management and various functions across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Leads the annual budgeting process and manages the company forecast model
• Oversees financial analysis for potential financing and business transactions to support decision-making
• Builds and mentors a high-performing FP&A and procurement organization, fostering a data-driven culture

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a finance-related discipline; MBA highly preferred
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in the clinical-stage biotech or pharmaceutical industry
• Thorough understanding of financial systems and financial statement analysis techniques
• Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills, with expertise in budgeting and forecasting
• Proven track record of hiring, training, and motivating high-performing teams
