Vice President of Financial Planning

Job Summary

Leading the financial planning and analysis function for a ~$6.5B Medical Distribution business, the full-time Vice President of Financial Planning will manage forecasting, budgeting, and performance analytics while collaborating with senior leadership to optimize financial performance in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end FP&A cycle, including quarterly forecasts, annual budgeting, and long-range planning
• Evaluate financial and operational performance, identifying risks and opportunities across distribution metrics
• Lead financial modeling and scenario analysis to support pricing strategies, vendor negotiations, and distribution network optimization

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA strongly preferred
• 7-10+ years of progressive FP&A experience with senior leadership exposure
• Experience in distribution, supply chain, or healthcare-related businesses preferred
• Background in high-volume, operationally complex environments is a plus
• Proficiency with FP&A systems (Hyperion, Essbase, SAP preferred) and advanced Excel capabilities
