Vice President of Financial Systems

Job Summary

To drive the transformation and optimization of financial systems, the remote Vice President of Financial Systems will manage the vision and strategy for the Workday Financial Management platform, ensuring alignment with business growth and operational efficiency while leading a team of financial systems professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Own the enterprise vision and multi-year roadmap for Workday Financial Management and the financial technology ecosystem
• Partner with senior executives to define and execute finance transformation strategies and align technology investments with business priorities
• Lead financial systems integration during mergers and acquisitions, ensuring compliance and continuity of financial reporting

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field
• 12+ years of experience leading enterprise financial systems and large-scale transformation initiatives
• Deep expertise with Workday Financial Management and strong knowledge of Workday HCM, Payroll, and Recruiting
• Strong understanding of accounting processes, financial close, reporting, internal controls, and audit requirements
• Proven experience in acquisitive or private equity-backed organizations preferred
