Vice President of Information Security

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President of Information Security.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Information Security organization, driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Oversee security monitoring and incident response functions, ensuring rapid detection and resolution of threats
• Define and execute a comprehensive enterprise security strategy that aligns with business objectives and manages security risks

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Information Security, with a strong track record in SaaS or enterprise software organizations
• At least 5+ years of experience with diverse products and cloud services in a fast-paced environment
• Technical depth in modern security practices, including cloud security and application security
• Proven expertise with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, FERPA, HIPAA) and experience with audits
• Strong background in embedding security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and making data-driven decisions
