Vice President of Interconnection

Job Summary

Leading the growth and delivery of interconnection services, the full-time Vice President of Interconnection will manage a technical team, ensure high-quality client engagement, and support independent power producers and large load developers in a fully remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and grow the interconnection team, ensuring quality delivery and client satisfaction
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance while managing resources and approving technical reports
• Support clients throughout the interconnection lifecycle, including capacity analysis and application support

Required qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in power systems engineering or utility consulting
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing technical teams and client engagements
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (PhD or PE preferred)
• Strong understanding of North American interconnection processes and regulatory environments
• Deep expertise in transmission planning and interconnection across major ISOs/RTOs
