Vice President of Investment Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President, Investment Accounting Policy.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical specialist for complex investment asset classes under U.S. GAAP and U.S. Statutory accounting
• Act as the main point of contact for complex investment transactions and collaborate with the financial reporting team
• Monitor and document developments from regulatory bodies that may impact accounting policies and practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and internationally recognized accounting designation (CPA or CA) required
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in investment accounting or public accounting
• Experience with accounting for complex investment asset classes and consolidation assessments
• Ability to keep up-to-date with developments in U.S. GAAP and U.S. Statutory accounting guidance
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
