Vice President of IT and Security
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced leader, the full-time remote Vice President of IT and Security will manage a high-performing team, oversee incident response and product security, and drive IT operations while fostering collaboration across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and coach the Security & IT organization, developing technical talent and building succession depth
- Own incident response processes, including detection, triage, and post-incident reviews
- Set and execute the strategy for IT operations, covering endpoints, identity management, and SaaS
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of people management experience, including performance management and talent development
- 12+ years in security engineering or operations, with hands-on experience in incident response
- Experience in product security and direct IT operations responsibility
- Working knowledge of SOC 2 compliance and risk management
- Technical expertise in detection engineering and cloud security fundamentals
