Vice President of Literacy
Job Summary
To drive innovative product development for K-12 Literacy, the full-time salaried Vice President of Literacy will lead a dedicated editorial team, manage relationships with key stakeholders, and oversee planning and budgeting for literacy projects in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide overall product development leadership for the K-12 Literacy portfolio, including Supplemental, Assessment, and Intervention solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative product models that meet the needs of educators and students
- Ensure projects are completed on time and on budget while aligning with the original product vision
Required qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in curriculum or instructional development of educational materials
- Bachelor's degree in English, Reading, Literacy, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Previous teaching experience with knowledge of child learning processes
- Proven ability to effectively manage teams and lead collaborative efforts
- Willingness to travel occasionally as required by projects
