Vice President of Major Gifts

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President, Major Gifts to lead the development and execution of a national major gifts program.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year strategy to significantly grow major and principal gifts revenue
• Build and manage a healthy pipeline of major gift prospects
• Personally manage and solicit a portfolio of high-net-worth donors and prospects capable of six and seven figure gifts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization
• Ten years of relevant professional experience, or a master's degree in a relevant area of study plus 8 years of relevant professional experience
• At least 4 years of senior leadership/executive level experience
• Experience in strategically cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major and principal donor prospects
• Ability to travel
