Vice President of Modernization
Job Summary
Leading enterprise modernization initiatives, the full-time remote Vice President of Modernization will define and execute a strategy for transitioning legacy technology to scalable, cloud-based, AI-enabled environments while enhancing operational efficiency and customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement an enterprise modernization strategy aligned with business objectives and technology growth
- Lead the deployment of AI and generative AI solutions across the organization
- Oversee the modernization of legacy applications, including the migration of COBOL/mainframe workloads to cloud-native platforms
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Management, or a related field
- 20+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, particularly in enterprise modernization or digital transformation
- Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying AI, automation, or advanced analytics solutions
- Strong understanding of cloud architectures and modern software engineering practices
- Proven experience with legacy application modernization, especially involving COBOL/mainframe environments
