Vice President of Operational Risk

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President of Operational Risk Management to lead the operational risk framework and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the Operational Risk Management Department and align it with business objectives
• Maintain and enhance the operational risk management framework, policies, and controls
• Conduct independent operational risk assessments and establish Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in operational risk management within financial services, with at least 5 years in mortgage servicing
• Proven leadership experience in managing risk programs and cross-functional teams
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and investor servicing guidelines
• Experience with risk control self-assessments (RCSA) and internal control design
