Job Summary
To lead the payer strategy for a growing behavioral health platform, the full-time remote Vice President of Payer Strategy will manage national payer relationships, negotiate contracts, and develop value-based partnerships while residing in the Northeast.
Key responsibilities
- Own strategic relationships with Tier 1 payers and negotiate multi-year rate renewals and contract terms
- Accelerate behavioral health payer contracting and lead market entry into multiple states
- Evaluate and build value-based care partnerships while driving strategic payer pilots and initiatives
Required qualifications
- 10+ years in healthcare payer strategy or network contracting with progressive responsibility
- 5+ years in senior leadership roles with direct accountability for payer negotiations
- Proven track record of building executive-level relationships with Tier 1 payers
- Experience in multi-site healthcare settings and multi-state contracting
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills related to payer strategy and revenue growth
