Job Summary
Leading the enterprise payor relations and market access strategy, the full-time Vice President of Payor Relations will develop insights on payor trends, oversee negotiations with key stakeholders, and drive analytics to support strategic planning and reimbursement outcomes in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the enterprise payor relations and market access strategy, aligning it with the company's strategic plan
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key payors and oversee negotiations on coverage policies and reimbursement terms
- Serve as the primary payor strategy partner to internal stakeholders and establish governance rhythms to ensure alignment and follow-through
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree (MBA, MHA, MPH) preferred
- 12 years of progressive experience in payor relations, managed care, or related fields with significant leadership experience
- Demonstrated track record of senior-level payor engagement and complex negotiation experience
- Strong understanding of reimbursement and managed care dynamics with the ability to connect policy terms to outcomes
- Exceptional executive communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex topics into clear recommendations
