Vice President of Platform Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a VP of Platform Engineering who will be responsible for the strategic planning, design, implementation, and support of all systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior leadership to define and implement IT strategy and policies aligned with business goals
• Lead the architecture, design, development, and deployment of scalable infrastructure and platform technologies
• Oversee system availability, performance, and issue resolution across platforms

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• 10+ years of leadership experience in IT across multidisciplinary functions with a background in engineering and managing engineering initiatives
• Deep expertise in enterprise IT systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, web-based platforms)
• Strong understanding of application development, cloud infrastructure, and API/microservices architecture
• Proven experience managing large-scale, cross-functional IT projects and change initiatives
