Vice President of Platform Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a VP, Platform Engineering who will lead cloud native, large scale development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead platform execution activities and define the platform product roadmap
• Build and manage a skilled technology team focused on platform engineering
• Establish technical standards and improve tools, processes, and compliance for product development

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering with leadership in a large enterprise or SaaS environment
• Disciplined engineering and architecture background with experience in delivering major platform releases
• Experience leading teams in a multi-tenant Cloud/SaaS environment on major cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and strategic workforce planning
• Proven ability to build and mentor high-performing teams
