Vice President of Platform Engineering

Job Summary

Leading the strategy and architecture for technology platforms, the full-time salaried Vice President of Platform Engineering will manage the end-to-end architecture across infrastructure, applications, and DevOps, enabling product squads to build and scale customer solutions efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the long-term platform engineering strategy aligned with the organization's product roadmap
• Own the architecture and delivery of core platform capabilities, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
• Enable the product squad operating model by providing shared platform services and developer tooling

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering and platform/infrastructure leadership
• Proven track record in building and scaling cloud-native platforms and distributed systems
• Deep technical expertise in cloud platforms, microservices, CI/CD, and DevOps/SRE practices
• Strong strategic and communication skills for aligning technical strategies with business goals
• Demonstrated success in building high-performing engineering teams in fast-paced environments
