Vice President of Platform Engineering

Job Summary

Leading the strategy and operational excellence of enterprise technology platforms, the full-time remote Vice President of Platform Engineering will manage cloud engineering, DevOps, IT security, and application services while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance technology capabilities and drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead enterprise platform engineering strategy across cloud, DevOps, automation, and security
• Design and operate scalable, secure platforms in public, private, and hybrid cloud environments
• Build and mentor high-performing engineering teams to improve system reliability and operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
• 10+ years of progressive technology experience in IT infrastructure, platform engineering, and cloud engineering
• Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role with responsibility for enterprise platforms
• Strong experience with cloud platforms, automation, and enterprise-scale technology operations
• Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and cloud security tools
