Vice President of Preconstruction

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President of Preconstruction.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed bid packages and manage full RFP cycles, including vendor coordination and bid reviews
• Lead all estimating efforts across conceptual, schematic, and construction stages
• Develop internal tools, schedules, and workflows to standardize preconstruction processes

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years in construction, with experience in preconstruction, EPC RFPs, procurement, estimating, cost control, scheduling, and contract review
• Proficiency in relevant construction tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, Takeoff software)
• Track record of building processes, tools, or internal infrastructure from the ground up
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently
