Vice President of Preconstruction

Job Summary

Leading preconstruction and estimating functions, the full-time Vice President of Preconstruction will manage bid packages, oversee internal processes, and collaborate on contract negotiations for a growing renewable energy company.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed bid packages and manage full RFP cycles, including vendor coordination and bid reviews
• Lead all estimating efforts across conceptual, schematic, and construction stages while developing internal tools and workflows
• Collaborate with legal on EPC contract drafting, review, and negotiation, and support M&A diligence from a construction perspective

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years in construction, with experience in preconstruction, EPC RFPs, and cost control
• Proficiency in construction tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, and Bluebeam
• Demonstrated ability to build processes, tools, or internal infrastructure from the ground up
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
