Vice President of Product

Job Summary

Leading the product practice for a consultancy, the remote Vice President of Product will set strategic direction, oversee a team of 75+ product managers, and drive innovation in AI and product delivery for government clients.

Key responsibilities

• Set and own the strategy for AI adoption within the product practice, including identifying opportunities and embedding AI-informed workflows
• Own product strategy and go-to-market direction, ensuring product-market fit for new offerings
• Lead practice and people management, establishing standards of excellence and fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• 10+ years in product management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Experience in establishing product-market fit and shaping go-to-market strategies
• Proven success in leading large teams through hiring, performance management, and career development
• Strong analytical and strategic-thinking skills
• Experience with agile methodologies and modern product management practices
