Vice President of Programs

Job Summary

To drive impactful AI-enabled programs in agriculture or health, the full-time remote Vice President of Programs will set strategic direction, build partnerships, and lead efforts to scale initiatives that benefit millions in low- and middle-income countries.

Key responsibilities

• Shape organizational strategy and culture as a core member of the executive leadership team
• Design and implement ambitious program strategies for either the Agriculture or Health portfolio, ensuring rigorous measurement and iteration
• Build and maintain partnerships with AI labs, global development actors, and regional governments to mobilize resources and support program expansion

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in international development or related fields, with a proven track record of scaling complex initiatives in low and middle-income countries
• Experience in AI-enabled solutions relevant to either health or agriculture at the program design or deployment level
• Demonstrated success in fundraising, with experience raising $5M+ annually from major donors
• Familiarity with government operations in African and/or Asian contexts to support regional leaders effectively
• Strong understanding of frontier AI tools and their application in low-resource settings, along with existing relationships with key global funders
