Vice President of Property Accounting

Job Summary

Leading centralized accounting operations, the full-time Vice President of Property Accounting will oversee financial reporting, manage Controller teams, and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Controllers to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting across assigned portfolios
• Provide strategic oversight of shared services functions, ensuring scalability and standardization
• Drive process transformation initiatives and support system implementations to optimize accounting operations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CMA/CPA preferred)
• 10+ years of progressive experience in property accounting or real estate finance
• Proven leadership experience in managing people and processes
• Deep understanding of core accounting operations, including AP, AR, and financial reporting
• Experience with property accounting systems such as Yardi, MRI, or Avid
