Vice President of R&D

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President of R&D Formulation to lead and scale formulation efforts across their product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of formulators and oversee product formulation, prototyping, and testing
• Design and optimize formulations while ensuring compliance with FDA regulations
• Build and mentor a high-performing team and manage R&D budgets and partnerships

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field
• 15+ years of R&D leadership experience in CPG or dietary supplements, with hair category experience
• Proven leadership in developing and launching consumer products at scale
• Deep understanding of ingredient science and formulation processes
• Experience with cGMP, FDA regulations, and cosmetic regulatory standards
