Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President, Reliability Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic transformation of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices across teams
• Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes aligned with ITIL best practices
• Define and implement enterprise-wide observability strategies for system health and performance

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering, with 5+ years in site reliability engineering or platform operations
• Proven experience in architecting scalable, distributed systems in cloud-native environments
• Strong understanding of microservices, API design, and infrastructure-as-code practices
• Deep knowledge of performance optimization and observability in high-scale production systems
• Familiarity with platform development in regulated environments such as healthcare or fintech
