Job Summary
Driving broker sales and account management activities, the full-time remote Vice President of Sales will build and lead a high-performance team, establish new business development strategies, and deepen relationships within broker and consultant distribution channels.
Key responsibilities
- Own the broker and consultant distribution sales strategy, focusing on revenue growth across non-owned channels
- Lead the Account Management team to nurture and grow existing broker relationships while establishing performance metrics and SLAs
- Hire, coach, and develop a team of Business Development Managers and Account Managers, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive sales and account management experience in health insurance distribution
- Established relationships with brokers, general agents, and consultants in the individual and small group health market
- Proven success in building and leading sales teams in growth-stage or entrepreneurial environments
- Strong understanding of the U65/non-ACA insurance market and broker compensation structures
- Self-starter with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
