Vice President of Security Assurance

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President of Security Assurance to lead security practices across the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the product security vision, strategy, and roadmap
• Lead the design and implementation of a secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) and establish secure coding standards
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing product security team while ensuring compliance with industry regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in security or engineering roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity
• Deep knowledge of secure software development practices and common vulnerabilities
• Strong technical background in cloud-native architectures, containers, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in regulated environments or with security certifications/frameworks
