Vice President of Security Operations

Job Summary

Seeking a visionary leader, the full-time remote Vice President of Security Operations will manage global 24x7 Managed Security Operations Centers, drive operational excellence, and enhance detection and response capabilities to protect customers against evolving threats.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the global Managed Security Operations Centers, ensuring effective monitoring and incident response
• Develop and execute strategies to enhance detection capabilities and service performance while nurturing executive-level relationships
• Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing SOC leaders, fostering a culture of engagement and continuous development

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of cybersecurity experience with at least 10 years in leadership roles within large global Security Operations teams
• Proven track record in scaling SOC operations and improving detection and response outcomes in high-volume environments
• Established connections with industry threat-mitigation groups for access to emerging threat intelligence
• Experience in building high-performing global teams operating in a 24x7 service model
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with executives, customers, and technical teams
