Vice President of Sustainability

Job Summary

Leading the advancement of sustainability initiatives, the full-time salaried Vice President of Sustainability will oversee the development and execution of the organization's sustainability strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously evolve the company's sustainability strategy, establishing clear goals and governance structures
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and oversee sustainability-related reporting to stakeholders
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with sustainability regulations and effectively communicate the company's sustainability narrative

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or related field) preferred
• 10+ years of progressive experience in sustainability or corporate responsibility with leadership responsibilities
• Deep knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks and standards
• Proven ability to design and implement enterprise-wide sustainability strategies
• Strong understanding of regulatory environments related to sustainability compliance
