Vice President of Sustainability

Job Summary

Leading the organization's sustainability strategy, the remote Vice President of Sustainability will develop and execute sustainability initiatives, manage reporting processes, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating cross-functionally to enhance the company's environmental impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and evolve the sustainability strategy, establishing clear goals and governance structures
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and oversee sustainability reporting for stakeholders
• Partner with legal and business leaders to ensure compliance with sustainability regulations and standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred in a relevant field
• 10+ years of progressive experience in sustainability or corporate responsibility with leadership roles
• Deep knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks and sustainability standards
• Proven ability to design and implement enterprise-wide sustainability strategies
• Strong understanding of U.S. federal and state sustainability regulatory environments
